(Current Students)

■ Important Notice 

*If you have entered a higher-level program from within the university and wish to have a certificate issued free of charge for a status other than that of your current enrollment (Undergraduate or Master’s Program) but are unable to select a certificate for any other status on the Application Screen, please apply at the appropriate office in your faculty, graduate school, etc.

*The certificate issuing service is currently not available to non-degree students enrolled in the university. Please apply at the appropriate office in your faculty, graduate school, etc.It takes several days to issue a certificate, so please apply well in advance. Please refer to your faculty’s website for details on the number of days.

■The on-campus issuing machines 

Current students can use this service to apply in advance for various necessary certificates, which can then be printed out using the on-campus issuing machines. (8:30-17:00 / Weekdays only)

■Certificate Application Fees

The fees for certificates are as follows.

Printing out a certificate at a convenience store incurs a separate printing fee of 60 yen per copy.

Fees will not be refunded for completed applications in which the number and/or type of certificate were entered incorrectly.

■ Important Notes on Student Discount Issuance

• The validity period is three months. The issuance date cannot be corrected.

• Any fraudulent use is strictly prohibited.
  Engaging in the following acts constitutes misuse, which may result in a significant surcharge. Additionally, the university may face a suspension of issuance, affecting all students' ability to use student discounts.

  1. Purchasing a ticket using another person's or an invalid student discount certificate

  2. Transferring or selling a ticket purchased with a student discount certificate to another person

  3. Using a student discount ticket without possessing a student ID

  4. Any other fraudulent use of the student discount certificate

• The student discount certificate has specific usage conditions.
  It can only be used for purposes necessary for your studies.
  Eligible purposes include:

  1. Returning home

  2. Official coursework

  3. Extracurricular educational activities

  4. Job hunting or entrance exams

  5. Educational visits

  6. Medical treatment

  7. Accompanying a guardian on a trip

※ The certificate cannot be used for purposes not listed above, including solo or group trips with friends and driving school camps.

• It gets very crowded before long vacations, so please apply early.
